Relational Databases

A set of relational databases allows users to save time, money and effort because of its data handling capabilities. Each piece of information (for example, customer name and address) is only stored in only one database (say the Customer Database). Then, when invoices are prepared the Invoice Database can retrieve and use the customer information without its being copied into the Invoice Database. This cuts down on errors, duplication and work.
